Nine Sioux players were named to the All-North Central Conference first team. Those named were:

• Senior right guard Tim Prinsen (2nd time)
• Sophomore tight end Jim Kleinsasser
• Sophomore running back Phillip Moore
• Senior nose guard Mark Callahan (3rd time)
• Senior defensive lineman Dwayne Ell
• Senior outside linebackers David Borowicz
• Senior inside linebacker Tim Tibesar (2nd time)
• Senior free safety James Cheatham (2nd time)
• Senior kicker Juan Gomez-Tagle

Named to the second team were senior wide receiver Kirby Garry, and senior outside linebacker Donny Kaiser.

Outside linebackers Marcus McKenzie and Greg Lotysz received honorable mentions.
