Pittsburgh St at North Dakota GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- Kelby Klosterman threw three touchdown passes and the UND defense allowed just 134 total yards as the Fighting Sioux defeated Pittsburg St. 38-0 in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II playoffs here Saturday. UND (12-1) advances to the semifinals against West Region champion Cal State-Davis. The Sioux dominated Pittsburg St. (11-2) in all facets of the game and handed the Gorillas their first shutout since 1982. Klosterman finished 14 of 27 for 252 yards, with all three of his touchdowns coming in the first half. UND running back Jed Perkerewicz rushed for 84 yards on 20 carries. Sioux kicker Cameron Peterka hit three field goals, including a 59-yard boot in the first half that set a new NCAA Division II playoff record. The Sioux outgained Pittsburg St. 406-134 and shut down the Gorilla's third-ranked rushing offense. The Gorillas finished the game with minus 19 yards on 32 carries. Pittsburg St. quarterback Neal Philpot was 11 of 27 passing for 151 yards. He also threw two interceptions and was sacked five times.
